Baby steps

Chloe is six months young! It went by fast and it's been amazing. Watch out world she'll be crawling soon.

Chloe is starting to think about crawling. She likes to roll around until she reaches her destination. Sometimes when she's on her tummy, she'll stretch her legs and push her arms forward hoping that will get her moving. She just needs to figure out how to get her tummy off the floor.

Dan and I have started feeding Chloe solids, starting with rice cereal. Of course the cutest half-filipina loves it. The only problem is that she gets constipated. She didn't do number two for seven days. We tried everything -applesauce, prune juice, cilantro-steeped water, asking her politely. Her caregiver gave her water that had been steeped with a root and that did the trick, but a little too well. She finally did the deed for Daddy. According to Dan, it was a 12 wipe, double bag kind of job. We gave her a bath the same evening and afterwards, as I was drying her, she decided to do the deed again. She's an over achiever already. :P
