My name is Jill Robin Pascua. If you want to find out more about me, leave a question in the Comments.
Who are you?
I'm Jill Robin Pascua, but please, call me "Jill Robin". If your name is Carey and you've known me since the first grade, then you can call me "Jill". If I'm at work call me "J.R." If you're my mother, call me "Mrs. Miller."
Where are you from?
I was born in Key West, Florida and have lived in Virginia for most of my life.
No, I meant what's your ethnicity?
Oh, well why didn't you say so? My Mom and Dad were born and raised in the Philippines. My Mom grew up in Paniqui, Tarlac and my Dad grew up in San Nicholas, Ilocas Norte. I bet you haven't noticed, but I'm tall for a Filipino. Actually, I'm pretty tall for an Asian. 5'5"
How do you say your last name?
It's kinda like saying "pasta", but instead of a "t" put in a "kw". Altogether now: PAH-skwaw BTW, Pascua means Easter in Spanish.
Any advice to folks out there who want to put up their own website?
Hmmm, let me think about this one. . . Don't cook bacon naked.
25 Random Things About Me
1. I just discovered Rice Krispy treats. Mom never made them. They're so easy to make and oh so yummy.

3. Meryl Streep, Cyndi Lauper, Beatrice Withee and I share the same birthday - June 22.
4. Beatrice Withee and I almost got arrested for climbing a water tower
at UVA. We actually ducked to hide from the police to which they
responded "Ladies, please get down from there". They let us go with a
strong warning.
5. Pet peeves: emails without subject lines, dishes in the sink, cars that change lanes without signaling
6. I won't get out of bed if all the digits on the digital clock add up to 13 or if it's 6:56 (too close to "666").

from college: BIN, Matrix Group, Redmon, USi, CommerceOne, Mindshare,

wore braces while I wore braces for three freakin' years.
10. 10 is my favorite number.
11. I go by several names: Jill, Jill Robin and JR. I really don't like
"Jill" and didn't start to correct folks until I went to college. Once
I was drunk at a party and introduced myself as "Jill Wobin" - friends
called me "JW" for a little while.
12. I've ran in three marathons, many half-marathons, 10-milers and 10Ks. I run slowly.
13. I like to run in road races not for the glory and the

her hand in government class and asked "What's a bong?" . In college, I
was in a study group with a guy who had his own cigarette rolling
papers and thought he really did roll his own tobacco. You can't fly if
you're high! :P
18. I stopped eating pork for many years because of an incident in the
Philippines when I was 8 and it was the summer after I read
"Charlotte's Web" - while visiting my Dad's home, my grandmother and I
would feed these two pigs every morning. I thought they were pets until
one morning, I woke up to the most horrible squealing. One of those
pigs was dinner that night. I'm over it. Bring on the bacon!
19. One of my favorite trips is going to the Philippines with my
parents when I was 26. Finally understanding why my Dad gets up at 5:00
am every morning (growing up with freaking roosters cock-a-doodl'in
early in the morning): priceless.

25. I usually don't like talking about myself. Unless you ask or think it'll help, I won't tell.
